  1. Everyone has this innate desire to be understood and accepted.

2. Judgement is absence of love.

3. If you trust someone immensely, you make it difficult for them to betray your trust.

4. People judge you on service and not quality.

5. To grow your hospitality business, find out what people dont like and fix it.

6. There are two types of customer service — basic and delight. Delight brings referrals.

7. To grow your hospitality business, you need to make repeat orders easy.

8. Life is about people you meet and stories you create with them.

9. As owner of a hospitality business, your job is to make everyone feel like a king or queen.

10. Gift works better than advertisements.

11. Brand is build with a band of disciples.

12. Hospitality is nothing but love in action. We can automate processes but unless we don’t craft special moments for our guests, they won’t have anything special to write for us. You got to constantly do something that makes your guests write essays for you, not just two lines of reviews.

13. You would encounter four types of person : controller (logical, extrovert), analytical (logical, introvert), amiable (emotional, introvert) and enthusiast (emotional, extrovert).

14. Best guests are specific, mostly on the geek side, respectful and often very pragmatic.

15. To maintain your unique brand identity, you got to be visible to all but you got to ensure you are not found by everybody.

Btw, I’m hosting an Airbnb Masterclass on 13th Sept’20 and you’re welcome to join us if you’d like to learn how to build an Airbnb empire from scratch.

If you are looking to start a hospitality business or you are already running one and need help in scaling it up to support your lifestyle, vision & passion, I’d be happy to help. Let’s talk!
